PERTHSHIRE PRIDE 2022

Perthshire Pride returns! Perthshire Pride is delighted to return as a full scale event in 2022 for this very special year of the 50th Anniversary of the Pride in the UK and we are proud to unveil our plans for August 13th 2022.

Our 2022 special guest will be none other than Perthshire LGBTQ+ icon, Alan Cumming! As a leading LGBT rights activist, Alan Cumming has persevered in and has promoting LGBTQ rights around the world, supporting organisations such as Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, the Human Rights Campaign, The American Foundation for AIDS Research and Broadway Cares/Actors' Equity Association Fights AIDS. The star of Golden Eye, X Men, Spy Kids and more was also presented with the San Francisco Human Rights Campaign's Humanitarian Award in 2005. We are absolutely thrilled that the Alan will be joining us on the day to lead the march and deliver an opening speech!

PRIDE PARADE

11am – 12pm

South Inch Car Park

The rumour has it, and it is now confirmed, our Saturday 13 August 2022, and we are so excited to welcome you to be part of it!

This will be a historic event and we want all the actors of positive change and all the drivers of equality and inclusivity to join us for a celebration of all LGBT+ identities, but also all abilities, origins, and walks of life!

Starting from the South Inch Car Park, the Parade will kick off at 11:00. The Parade will go along Tay street, Bridge Lane and finally Mill Street. The main event will be, like last year, at Mill Street Plaza, in front of (and inside) the Concert Hall.

PRIDE VILLAGE

12pm – 6pm

Join us at the Mill Street Plaza on August 13th  between 12pm and 6pm for the Perthshire Pride 2022 main event!

We will be announcing our line-up shortly, but we will have  showcase of major and community acts who will be entertaining everyone all day on the Ross William Robertson Scott mainstage, a pride market which will host stalls from key charities that support the LGBTQ+ community, a youth zone with activities for LGBTQ young people and much more!

PRIDE AFTER PARTY

We are delighted to be returning to The 𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗞 Bar & Beer Garden for the 2022 Official Pride After Party. 

Join us for a Pub Quiz from the Perth Parrots Floorball Club, Drag Shows and a Pride Classics DJ Set from our special guest headliner who will be announced next week!

Entry is £7+Booking Fee. The Bank have been exceptionally generous and all income from ticket sales will be donated back to Perthshire Pride for our 2023 event.

BRUNCH AT THE YARD

For the first time ever Perthshire Pride will also be a full weekend event! 

Join us at on Sunday the 14th at The Yard  for a Pride Brunch and Boogie with craft stalls, a Pride themed DJ set and some local food and drink all set in their outdoor venue!

The Yard have also generously taken out a sponsorship package to support Perthshire Pride!
